Description
Borehole water supplies are particularly susceptible to slurry contamination following wet weather. Slurry contains various harmful contaminant substances (as sewage). Analysis must be performed after this type of event in order to guarantee the quality of the water.
Suitable for:
- Water suspected of slurry contamination
- Water suspected of faecal contamination
- People affected by faecal (animal or human) contamination
- Assessing Suspected Areas Of Pollution
- Quality Checks
- Environmental Agencies
Advantages
Through this test it is possible to evaluate drinking water for the level of faecal contamination.
Questions
Could I receive updates on my results before the report is issued?
You can obtain this information on the website by logging into your dashboard.
Can the customer send the sample in their own bottle, since they already have the water bottled?
This is not allowed and would change the result of the analysis. Our bottles are pre-prepared under ideal conditions for the storage and transport of the sample, so that it does not undergo any changes in its content.
What kind of contaminants can water contain if it is used for human/animal consumption, irrigation, or any other purpose?
It will depend on what kind of environment the water is located in (urban, rural, industrial area). It also depends on if there is contact with groundwater suspected to be contaminated with sewage or if it receives discharge of any type. Only an accurate analysis can tell if there is contamination and what type.
